Friday Mailroom/Terms of service

Terms of service

Terms for a private household tool.

Friday Mailroom is a personal-use system, not a public financial, accounting, or email service.

Effective September 9, 2026Version 1.0

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By authorizing or using Friday Mailroom, you agree to these terms. Use is limited to the operator and household members the operator explicitly permits. The app is not available for public registration.

2. Purpose of the app

Friday Mailroom reads a dedicated Gmail mailbox and converts supported transaction-alert emails into records for a private household finance ledger. It is an organizational aid and does not provide banking, investment, tax, legal, or professional accounting advice.

3. Authorization and account responsibility

You must have authority to grant access to the connected Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of that account and may revoke the app’s access at any time through your Google Account settings.

4. Accuracy and review

Automated extraction may be incomplete or incorrect. Ledger entries and held items must be reviewed against original bank records. The app must not be the sole basis for a payment, filing, financial decision, or account-balance claim.

5. Availability and warranties

The app is provided “as is” for personal use. Availability is not guaranteed, and features may change or stop without notice. To the extent permitted by law, no warranties are made about uninterrupted operation or error-free results.

6. Google relationship

Friday Mailroom and Wei Experimental are independent of Google. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Use of Google services remains governed by Google’s own terms and policies.

7. Privacy and changes

The Friday Mailroom Privacy Policy describes how Google user data is handled. These terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
